The EW-5500 from Early Warning is a completely integrated radar/laser detector that responds to all the radar guns in use today, including 'Stalker', and the new mph bee 36A radar gun as well as laser guns.
The EW-5500 provides distinct visual and audio alerts and digital voice alerts to warn you of the presence of X, K, and Ka band radar guns in front of you or behind you.
A high resolution color LED screen displays visual alerts and a 3-step signal strength meter.
City/Highway mode allows you to adjust sensitivity and minimize false alerts.
The EW-5500 detects lasers from any direction with the 360 degree laser eye
A built-in compass uses 8 LEDs to display 8 different directions.
The EW-5500 is invisible to VG-2 radar detector detectors.
Safety Alert System alerts you of the presence of road hazards and emergency vehicles.
